Preschool Programs
Welcome! We're so glad you've decided to join our classroom family! We look forward to getting to know your child and your family. The following is some basic information to get you started.
Preschool is a busy time! Children are exploring the world around them, their own creativity, and the social world of friends. We see teachers as facilitators of their learning through play and classroom activities. Our classroom goals include:
- High self-esteem for every child;
- Ability to build respectful relationships with peers and adults;
- Development of thinking and problem-solving skills;
- Development of creativity and imagination;
- A functional knowledge of the physical world and beginning academics;
- A positive attitude toward school and appropriate school behaviors;
- Respect for the Earth and all living things.
