Originally from Beaverton, Oregon, Mat received his bachelor of fine arts from Oregon State University and his master of fine arts in digital art from Indiana University.
Mat loves working with kids and is excited to be a part of their experience as they learn about the world around them.
Previously Mat worked at the Lane Community College library. He also has experience as an art teacher, as well as working at an art gallery and kids’ summer camps. In his free time Mat likes to draw, collect VHS recordings, and hang out with his partner and two cats, Alice and Jack.
