During her 30-plus years in the field, she was fortunate to have experienced a rich variety of related professional positions all centered on connecting with and supporting children and families: teacher, art teacher, mentor teacher, preschool director and co-director, designer of teacher workshops on neuroscience and play, creator and facilitator of arts and parenting programs in San Francisco, New York City, and in Eugene at Parenting Now. She acquired the foundation of her early childhood experience in Berkeley, at San Francisco State University, and during the 18 years living in New York City teaching and directing a variety of early childhood programs while raising her twin children in the flurry of the city.
In her free time she likes to swim, sing, take walks with her family, and connect with loved ones on the East Coast.
