Committed to Child Development

At Moss Street Children's Center, we help children develop respect, empathy, and compassion. We integrate the value of appreciating and celebrating differences throughout our classrooms and activities. Teachers are trained to reinforce all levels of pro-social behavior that the children demonstrate. In each classroom we focus on relationships and building social responsibility.

Our Mission

Our Team

We believe that parents are children’s primary teachers. Our role as professional educators is to support parents in assisting each child to achieve their full potential.

Each Moss Street classroom is staffed with a talented and skilled teacher of young children. We are proud of our minimal staff turnover—our lead teachers have 5–20 years of classroom experience. Their educations range from associate degrees in early childhood education to those who have graduate degrees. All staff participate in continuing training and professional development.

Our lead teachers are assisted by student aides and assistants. These university students bring lots of energy to their work with children, and allow us to exceed mandated adult-to-child staffing ratios.
