This summer we will be offering weekly swim lessons to our school-age children, through a collaboration with the UO Student Recreation Center's Starfish Swim School™. The half-hour lessons will be held at the Rec Center pool on Wednesday mornings. Rec Center instructors will teach children in groups of no more than five children in their small pool. Children may attend one or both four-week sessions. Moss Street staff will transport children to and from the pool and stay with the children during their lessons.
The cost for lessons depends on the parent's affiliation with the UO:
- Rec Center member: $24.00
- UO faculty/staff: $24.00
- UO student: $24.00
- UO alumni: $28.00
- Community: $32.00
Session dates are as follows:
- Session 1, four lessons (Wednesdays, June 26, July 3, July 10, July 17)
- Session 2, four lessons (Wednesdays, July 24, July 31, August 7, August 14)
Please complete the swim lesson registration and waiver form for the session(s) that you are enrolling your child. Also complete the swim lesson authorization form, which gives Moss Street permission to bill you for your child's lessons.
