UO Child Care Subsidy

The UO Child Care Subsidy Program helps student parents achieve their educational objectives by subsidizing the costs associated with the care of their child or children.

The Child Care Subsidy Program is a service paid for by Incidental Fees. This fund is comprised of student fees paid by most UO students, the proceeds of which are allocated by the ASUO Student Government Association and distributed by the UO Office of the Dean of Students, Basic Needs Program. All subsidy operational costs, reimbursement funds, and student staff members’ salaries are paid for by ASUO through the Incidental Fund.

Employment-Related Day Care

The Employment-Related Day Care program (ERDC) helps eligible low-income families pay for child care while they are working. ERDC is a subsidy program, meaning eligible families still pay part of the child care cost. In some circumstances, students who are working and attending school may qualify.
